Bus Driver, move that bus!
After about 5 years of renting apartments (both during college in Upstate NY & then back in the home state of Massachusetts), my husband of almost 3 yrs and I have embarked on buying our first home.
This charming fixer upper will make a very fun project for us, although the last time we painted a room together, it ended up in lots of bickering, and mostly the hubs dropping green paint my head while painting above me.
We will live on the first floor along with our two dogs, Rocco and Lexie. And we rent the 2nd Floor Apartment to a nice young couple.
We are not experts in house renovation. While hubs is quite the handyman, I like to think the most experience I’ve gotten is watching about 5,000 hours of HG TV programming. This blog is more of an outlet to mark the befores and afters of this project and also let our family and friends take a look at the progress (hopefully!) being made.
